East TN Hub Local Repair Opportunities

This program will make homes warmer, safer and drier through major home repair while inspiring service in the greater Tri-Cities, TN area. We aim to provide transformational experiences for local youth and adult volunteers and raise ASP’s standing as a trusted partner in our home community. 

The East TN Local Repair Program is based in Johnson City and will serve Carter, Hawkins, Sullivan, Washington and Unicoi Counties out of our headquarters on Bristol Highway.

Come serve for a day, a weekend or an entire project beginning to end. Opportunities are open to youth (completed 6th grade & up) with adults, college students, adults, individuals and groups.

PROJECT TYPES:
Volunteers serving in East TN may be placed on home repair, new construction, or disaster recovery projects. We ask groups to remain flexible on the type of project based on the biggest current need, project timing, and skill level match. Groups may request a specific type of project, but should be open to other project types as well.

All volunteers 19 and older MUST complete a background check prior to serving on a work site.

ASP Staff will contact all volunteers to confirm assignments.

Group sizes may be limited and dates may change on short notice. Currently, all volunteers must be approved prior to serving. Our staff will be in touch.
